Like any good origin story, I was heartbroken, lost, and empty. My world was a mess, and in my lowest moments, all I knew was that I wanted to become a strong, independent woman. Someone who lived with purpose, freedom, and self-made success. I knew I was meant for more than just surviving. But first, I had to heal.

 

As a desperate version of myself, newly introduced to spirituality and energetics, I was fascinated that different stones could help with such specific concerns. Naturally, instead of doing the practical thing — like finding a therapist — I resorted to crystals: rose quartz, rhodonite, anything to mend a broken heart and maybe reinvent myself in the process.

 

Before long, my collection was out of control. My purse was heavy, my pockets overflowing with emotional support stones. It was getting ridiculous. My fixation led me to crystal jewelry. Wearing the energies I wanted to embody was a much more practical and expressive way of using crystals, but it was quite frankly hard to find crystals in cute fashionable form. So I started making necklaces with the energies I needed, little crystal prescriptions I could wear.

 

Jewelry felt more intentional than rocks in my bag: I could express it, feel into it, and adorn myself with it. I wore them religiously, to protect my energy, heal my heart, and align myself with the version of myself I wanted to become. At the time, I knew I wanted to start a business, but I had no idea what it would be. The irony is that I was literally wearing the crystals that were aligning me with that dream.

 

Then one day,  I marinated in the idea of selling my creations at local markets, it was going to be simple I thought, a fun way to make a little extra money while I figured out my business I thought…untill it's potential started playing out in my mind. The phrase “soul in rebellion” came to me and became a spark that quickly evolved itself into the foundation of everything this brand is now.  Auras is more than jewelry. It’s a piece of me, shared as a service to the world. An activation that you don’t have to conform to a life of survival when you know you were meant for more. My mission is to guide you back to yourself, back to your heart, and to inspire you to create a reality that feels free, aligned, and authentic. Auras is the expression of freedom, the anchor to your dreams, and a way to align with the energy that carries you there.
